Teaching Objective

This program will enable students to be qualified personnel with basic knowledge of Civil engineering discipline, with professional training experience for engineers, with qualified ability for the work of planning, design, construction, management and research in civil engineering projects. Graduates will be able to find great jobs in the field of housing construction, tunnel and underground construction, bridge construction and mine companies.

Internship

Practice, course design, surveying and mapping practice, graduation practice, graduation design.

Duration

The duration of study is four years. The degree courses are: Elementary Chinese, Survey of China, Intermediate Chinese, Advanced Math, Physics, Theoretical Mechanics, Building materials, Material Mechanics, Structural Mechanics, Soil Mechanics & Foundation Engineering, Concrete Structure, Steel Structure, and Architecture Construction.

According to the requirements for the compulsory courses’ credits, students must obtain 143.5 credits in course learning, 3 credits in experimental courses and 28 credits in practice courses. Students can graduate only after having obtained 165 credits according to the requirements of the Teaching Plan, 14 credits according to the requirements of the Assistant Teaching Plan and having obtained HSK-3.

Degree Awarded

The qualified students will be awarded the Bachelor Degree of Engineering.

Career
