Long-term Chinese Language and Culture Program (autumn semester)

International Student Center of BIT runs 12 Chinese language and Culture classes in 8 levels for long-term study, which can help foreign scholars and students to master Chinese language, improve their research, teaching and study in the future, It usually gives 5 half days (20 to 22 hours) class instruction given by professors and lecturers a week, 16 weeks / one semester. Cultural visits such as trip to the Great Wall, Big Bell Museum, etc., and student get-togethers are all organized for long-term students without extra charge.
This course is designed to teach Pronunciation, Grammar, Conversation, Listening, Writing, Reading, Chinese Literature, Chinese Culture, Newspaper Direction, Chinese Survey, and Computer .Application in Chinese, Multimedia Course, HSK and practical activities. In some courses, students can learn how to go about practical daily activities in China, such as, going to see the doctor, going to the post office, or shopping in the local market. The course's breadth has met the special demands and interests of students. You can choose specific classes according to your level. As such, 8 levels of Chinese language courses are offered (Beginning, Fair, Good, and Excellent). More English medium courses are available for grouped English spoken students.

Textbooks are all approved by the Office of Teaching Chinese for Foreigners, P. R. China, with explanations in English. We specially provide the every material for foreign students

With photo, passport number &expiration date and name included.

2.Passport-sized photo
A passport-sized photo taken recently of the applicant.

3.Graducation Certificate of High school
Graduation Certificate should be in English or Chinese, if not，it should be translated into English or Chinese and be notarized

4.Academic transcript of high school

5.Permission from the previous university for tranfer students
A student who has studied in China and wants to transfer to another university must provide the permission from original university.

6.Guardian’s Guarantee
Only for applicants under 18 years old
