The paper-sticking type Residence Permit is to identify the legality of foreigners’ residence in China, which can be pasted to your passport. During the valid period, you can enter China more than once.

Getting started A. Academic Enrollment and Registration All students entering ECNU are required to register in person. Language students, degree students and visiting students should register at the School of Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language (Bldg.30 on campus map).

Do I need to take the entrance exam? If so, when should I take the exam? Language students, undergraduates, general visiting students and senior visiting students don’t need to take the entrance exam. Those who apply for the Master’s Degree or PhD. Degree have to take the entrance exam for admission. The school you applied will inform you the date and subjects of the test. Language students will take a placement test on registration day.
