Long-term Chinese Language Program (1 year, Autumn Semester)

The university offers flexible language courses. Enrollments are available in March and September during each academic year. Students can enroll in Elementary, Intermediate, or Advanced Courses according to their proficiency level of Chinese. Small classes or individual teaching are available upon request.

The university offers an excellent language learning environment. The main courses include Chinese Intensive Reading, Spoken Chinese, Chinese Culture, Extensive Reading, Listening Comprehension, and HSK Training and so on. The elective courses include Chinese Traditional Painting, Chinese Brush Calligraphy and Shadowboxing.

Developing students' proficiency of Chinese is our focus. A lot of cultural and language practice activities are arranged during studying, such as visiting places of interest in Guilin, visiting ethnic dwellings and watching ethnic dancing and singing

Note: New students are given a placement test, both oral and written, at the beginning of a new semester, and they will be placed in classes according to their respective level.
