Описание программы

Objectives
The PhD program in Civil Engineering provides students with both solid theory and the latest technological knowledge. The program has a practical orientation and aims to equip engineers with knowledge in modern experimental methods and research skills that allow them to meet the complexities of today’s challenges in the field of civil engineering. Students are expected to engage in high level scientific research, and to assume leadership role in the civil engineering industries.

Duration 
Duration of the program is between 3-4 years with course works in the first year, followed by a dissertation project.

Research Areas
1. Innovative Structural System Design
2. Structural Health Monitoring and Safety Evaluation
3. Foundation Engineering

Credit Units 
Students need to successfully complete minimum 13 credits, among which 10 must be core courses, 2 must be elective courses, and 1 must be academic report.

3. Have attained a Master's diploma with good marks.

4. Have solid financial support to afford the study and living expense  in China.

5. Good English reading, writing and speaking skills.
