The educational objective of this program is to train students into communications engineers, who can use the principles and theories of communications to solve technical problems in research and application.

Main Courses

The program provides training in wireless data systems, and wireless applications, signal processing , IP traffic networking, micro-controller ,embedded systems, communication systems, electric circuit, simulation electronic technology, numeral electronic technology, high frequency electronic circuit, signal and system, electromagnetic field, electromagnetic wave, digital signal processing, mobile communications, etc.

Internship and Career Development

This program values the combining of theory and practice, so the practical projects driven studies are encouraged and supported while taking the professional courses.

Students may be employed in all sorts of communications and electronic related industries upon graduation:

Information acquirement and security related companies, such as digital camera producing companies, information security related companies, security department in bank and other companies, security department in governments, etc.

Information transmission related companies, such as communications equipment manufacturing companies (cell phone manufacturing companies, digital TV manufacturing companies), communication network operator companies, multimedia communications companies, etc.

Information processing related companies, such as Internet service providers (ISP), consumer electronic companies. 

They can also move into other areas such as entrepreneurship and consulting. 

Another developing opportunity is in sales engineering and technical service. This involves the service and testing functions for various types of equipment in the industry.

Further Study

Graduates with bachelor's degrees in Communications Engineering enjoy an advantage when applying for a master's degree program. Some with excellent performance during undergraduate study could be directly admited without any examinations

Starting Date

Spring semester: Late February
Fall semester : Early September

1. Be in good health condition, which accords with the Health Standard for International Students stipulated by the China Education Department.

2. Have senior high school diploma and good academic record.

3. Have basic Chinese language ability for non-English courses.

4. Have good moral character and obey the laws and regulations of the Chinese government and regulations of the university. Respect Chinese social customs and habits.

5. Applicants who apply for bachelor programs conducted in English should have certain English proficiency.

With photo, passport number &expiration date and name included.

2.Passport-sized photo
A passport-sized photo taken recently of the applicant.

3.Graduation certificate of high school
Graduation certificate should be in Chinese or English.If not, it should be translated into Chinese or English and be notarized.

4.Academic transcript of high school

5.Health certificate(optional)
Photocopy of physical examination record.

6.Two recommendation letters(optional)
From professor,associate professor or equivalents.

7.Certificate of English proficiency test
IELTS or TOEFl will only be required if the applicant is not a native English speaker.
