Objectives
This program is designed to train students with sound basic knowledge, comprehensive expertise and skills in pharmacy science and a good command of English expression and communication skills. This program prepares students for careers in the fields of clinical pharmacy, research and development of drugs, production and management of drugs, drug analysis drug marketing, etc.

The principle of “laying a good foundation and strengthening practice” is to be implemented for this program. By involving students to lectures, laboratory experiments and fieldwork, the students trained under this program are expected to
1. have a good command of the basic theories, expertise and skills in medicament chemistry, pharmaceutical analysis pharmaceutics, pharmacology and pharmacy.
2. have a good knowledge of basic methods and technology in quality control of drugs, pharmacodynamics and evaluation on drug safety;
3. have a good knowledge of basic methods and technology in preparation of major drugs;
4. possess basic skills in drug preparation design, management of drug preparation and production;
5. have rich knowledge of laws, policies and regulations on pharmaceutical administration and marketing;
6. have a sound knowledge of clinical medicine and a good knowledge of evaluation of new drugs and the use of drugs in clinical practice;
7. be well-informed of the latest development in the field of modern pharmacology; have a sound mastery of basic methods of pharmaceutical literature retrieval; and be able to do practical work and scientific research related to pharmacy.
8. have a good command of translation skills of English technical documents in the field of pharmacy.

Degree Awarded
Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine/Science

1. High school graduate or above, or have passed Grade Twelve (10+2)/FSc./A Level/WAEC or equivalent.

2. Aged 18 or above and with a good health

3. No Chinese-citizen with foreign passport

1.  Copy of passport or other valid IDs
With name, passport number & expiration date, and photo included

2.  Passport-sized photo
A passport-sized photo taken recently of the applicant.

3.  Graduation certificate of high school
Graduation certificate should be in Chinese or English.If not, it should be translated into Chinese or English and be notarized.

4.   Academic transcript of high school

5.Letter of recommendation
From Chinese Embassies, consulates, charge de affairs, overseas Chinese communities, overseas Chinese schools or famous people from overseas Chinese communities or headmaster of high school.
