1. An IS may go to the infirmary or a nearby hospital for health care. 2. All ISs shall be offered accident insurance and hospitalization health insurance. During an event of an accident or hospitalization, an IS should inform the staff in the Management Office for the IEC or the insurance sales representative in a timely manner in order to be eligible to receive compensation.

1. An IS who has finished/completed their studies shall be awarded an academic certificate. Undergraduates and graduates: students who have fulfilled their credits in the designated period of time shall be awarded the certificate of graduation; those who have passed the thesis defence and fulfilled the corresponding credits shall be awarded degree certificates; those who have failed shall be awarded certificate for advanced studies.

Newly recruited students shall bring an Admission Notice and a Visa Application for Study in China (JW202 Form) to handle registration formalities at OUC within the prescribed time.

Accommodations In order to facilitate the study and life of ISs, there are apartment buildings for ISs at all three OUC campuses (Yushan, Fushan and Laoshan campuses) with collective management adopted. Please contact the housekeeping office at each campus for accommodations. There is a copy of the Notice to Lodgers in every apartment, in which the regulations about accommodation and checking out are stated for reference. An IS is allowed to move to an off-campus accommodation or an on-campus apartment for teachers, but an IS shall undergo the checkout procedure according to the rules, which are detailed in the Materials Required for International Students Applying for Off-Campus Accommodations. For accommodation in Laoshan campus, please contact the accommodation office at the Fushan campus.

Registration Information of Autumn Semester in 2011 Welcome to study in Ocean University of China. Please note the following registration information of Autumn Semester in 2011.

International students must report to the IEC of OUC with 8 photos, the passport, Admission Notice, JW202 or JW201 and Physical Examination Record for Foreigner at the time specified in the Admission Notice. Those who fail to register without the prior consent of the IEC will be considered as voluntarily giving up the enrollment, and those who are unable to register at the specified time must seek permission from the IEC directly.
