Program Description

When you apply for this program, you only need to fill out the department or school in the online application form. Students will choose their specific major offered by the department in the third year. This program is offered by the College of Economics.
The College of Economics offers the following majors:
Economics
Finance
International Economics & Trade
Risk Management & Insurance
Public Finance
Environmental Resource & Economic Development
Students are required to complete the curriculum in 4 to 6 years and fulfill the designated number of credits. Successful graduates will receive a graduation certificate along with the bachelor’s degree, according to the regulation of the Degree Committee.
When to apply
early January - early March
Please visit the CUCAS website for the latest information. Applicants must come in person to Peking University to submit their application materials, unless applying through CUCAS, in which case application materials can be sent to CUCAS who will then submit them to the university on the student’s behalf.
Entrance examination dates
The written tests is early April. For the details of test venue and time, please refer to your Admission Card.
The applicants who pass the written tests are required to attend an interview. Date and venue will be informed after the written tests.

Humanities/ Science:     Chinese language     Mathematics    English
Admission
Admission will be determined according to the applicants' educational background, the results of the Entrance examinations and the interview. The admission result will be available in the end of May. The 'Letter of Admission' and the attached documents can be obtained by the end of June.

September (specified in the Letter of Admission)

Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens with a valid passport, above the age of 18 and under the age of 30, have attained a senior high school diploma.

1.  Photocopy of valid passport
With photo, passport number &expiration date and name included.

2.  Passport-sized photo
A passport-sized photo taken recently of the applicant.

3.  Graduation certificate of high school
Graduation certificate should be in Chinese or English.If not, it should be translated into Chinese or English and be notarized.
