Teaching Objectives
Industrial Economics involves the study of theoretical and applied microeconomics, with a particular focus on the modern business enterprise and its operating environment. The degree provides its graduates with the knowledge and skills base necessary to pursue a range of general business and management careers, as well as to undertake research in economics and related areas.

Year one 
The first year of the course includes core modules in micro economics, entrepreneurship, the economics of decision making, organisational studies, business computing and quantitative methods. 

Year two
Second-year studies include core modules in micro economics, the economics of innovation, the economics of pricing and decision making, the economics of organisation, international firms, quantitative methods and econometrics. 

Year three
The final year includes core modules in industrial economics, the economics of regulation, corporate restructuring and economic policy making. 

Internship
Students will have the opportunities to be engaged in industrial collaborative projects, interview techniques, resume instructions and review, visits to companies, and career consultation.

Degree Awarded 
Qualified student will be granted Doctor's Degree of Economics in International Economics  by Shandong University.

Future Career
You will have a firm foundation for a successful career in a range of business areas or for further study and research. You will have a detailed knowledge of economic concepts and the skills to independently apply them to economic and business issues.

Graduation certificate should be in Chinese or English.If not, it should be translated into Chinese or English and be notarized.

From professor,associate professor or equivalents.
