Teaching Objective

Master in Applied Economics Program for International Students (MEPIS) is a specially designed international program (English）partly based on the exiting master programs in applied economics at the School of Economics. This master program is targeted to train the master candidates in a variety of economic studies in economic development, industrial organization, international trade, investment, financial innovation, resources and environmental economics, and financial management.

Educational Requirements

1. Well understand the deep theories and ongoing policy issues concerning economics and keep updated along with their advancement;

2. Built an independent thinking ability on economic theories and their applications;

3. Create strong potentials to communicate with governments, firms, NGOs and team members;

4. Write research papers, be capable in conducting seminars and working activities;

5. Apply fluent Chinese as a working language in doing business in China

6. Have the technique to conduct international business management and develop career potentials.
