Why this university?

Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) is a key university directly under the Ministry of Education of the P.R.China. The university, which is one of the largest in China, is distinctive among institutions of higher education. It covers a set of disciplines: philosophy, economics, law, education, literature, history, agriculture, science, engineering, medicine and management.


Program Introduction
The RES programme focuses on a range of economic issues in China. Emphasis is on timely, policy-related research that is of use to decision-makers as well as researchers from the region and beyond.

 Fee Structure

1.Tuition Fee: 38000 RMB/year

5.Others(books,deposit): 2000 RMB/year


Internship

Students will have the opportunities to be engaged in industrial collaborative projects, interview techniques, resume instructions and review, visits to companies, and career consultation.


Duration:2 Years


Degree Awarded 
Qualified student will be granted Master Degree of Economics in Quantitative Economics  by Huazhong University of Science and Technology.

Future Career
The graduates can work in the International trade transportation, insurance, customs clearance etc agencies, specialized foreign-trade corporations, and import and export department's of foreign-owned enterprises.

1. High school graduate or above, or have passed Grade Twelve (10+2)/FSc./A Level/WAEC or equivalent.

2. Aged 18 or above and with a good health

3. No Chinese-citizen with foreign passport

1.Photocopy of valid passport

 With photo, passport number &expiration date and name included.


2.Passport-sized photo
A passport-sized photo taken recently of the applicant.


3.Bachelor's degree diploma
Graduation certificate should be in Chinese or English.

If not, it should be translated into Chinese or English and be notarized.


4.Transcript of postgraduate school


5.English proficiency test certificate 

For example, IELTS or TOEFL, only for applicant whose native language is not English.


6.Two letters of recommendation 

From professor or associate professor or equivalents
