Goal
To train students to be skillful in teaching Chinese as a foreign language and equip students with the cross-cultural ability.

Description
MTCSOL, “Master of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages”, is set for those whose native language is not Chinese.
Graduation certificates will be issued when students have fulfilled the stipulated curriculum, acquired enough credits and completed the thesis. Students who satisfy the relevant requirements will be conferred upon the M.A. degree

Curriculum
Second language acquisition, Case analysis in classroom teaching, Cross-culture communication, A comparison between Chinese and other languages and Chinese teaching, Psychology of teaching Chinese as a foreign language, Chinese culture and arts, Modern Educational Technology, Lectures on linguistics, culture and education, etc.
 

HSK Level 6 (New HSK Level 4) or above
Applicant should hold Bachelor's degree diploma or equivalent or above

1.  Photocopy of valid passport
With photo, passport number &expiration date and name included.

2.  Passport-sized photo
A passport-sized photo taken recently of the applicant.

3.  Bachelor's degree diploma
Graduation certificate should be in Chinese or English.If not, it should be translated into Chinese or English and be notarized.

4.   Transcript of undergraduate school

5.  HSK Certificate (No need for English-taught program)

6.   Two recommendation letters
From professor,associate professor or equivalents.
