Materials Science and Engineering, a key subject in Zhejiang, is a Zhejiang province priority among priorities discipline. Materials Science and Engineering owns a highly competitive faculty and first-class experimental conditions in China. Research directions such as macromolecule material, Macromolecule material molding technology, metal materials and surface engineering and function materials are available. Our faculty members focus on the cultivation of broad basic knowledge, solid professional skills, strong hands-on ability and innovative ability of our students.

Internship

Juhua Group Corporation, the largest chemical industry base in Zhejiang province, was founded in 1958. With its headquarters located in Hangzhou, the capital of Zhejiang Province and production base in Quzhou, the company covers an area of 7.3 square kilometers. It has over 100 major production units manufacturing more than 200 types of products under 17 categories, such as fluoro-chemicals, basic chemical raw materials, etc. It has a state-level enterprise technical center and a postdoctoral research center and is the supporting institution for the “National Fluoro Materials Engineering and Technology Research Center” and “Zhejiang Juhua Sino-Russian Science and Technology Park”.

Career

The graduates, specialized in the synthesis of new materials, material formulation research, product design, production process control, production equipment selection and mold structure design, are competent in teaching, researching, production, inspection, trading and management positions in the areas of macromolecule material, metallic materials, inorganic material and various function materials.
