Advantages and Characters
Mechanical Engineering, a national first-class leading major, is one of the first pilot majors in "Extraordinary Engineers Cultivation Plan" forwarded by Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic China (MOE), a key major and a priority discipline of Zhejiang Province. In 2012, Mechanical Engineering passed the International Engineering Education Professional Accreditation organized by MOE. There are three concentrations in the major such as Mechanical Design and Theory, Machinery Manufacturing and Automation, Mechanical and Electronic Engineering. With a core of engineering practice and innovation abilities, it devotes to develop graduates with coordinated developments of knowledge, ability and predisposition, having stronger theoretical foundation of modern mechanical engineering and engineering practice ability, they can engage in the design, manufacturing, development and research work in mechanical engineering and other engineering fields, as well as management, marketing, and service work.

   Certificate of HSK (only for Chinese-taught programs)
2. Photocopy of valid passport 
   With name, passport number & expiration date, and photo included
3. Passport photo 
   A recent passport-sized photo of the applicant
4. High school academic transcript
5. High school graduate certificate 
   Graduation certificate in languages other than Chinese or English should be translated into Chinese or English and be certified by notarization.
